DESCRIPTION:Joe Russell Kreger Oklahoma Poet Laurette 2021-2022 will be presenting poems from his latest book along with insight into how they are slightly embellished. All his poems comes from his own experiences. He is a farmer and rancher by trade\, Kreger was introduced to poetry at a young age by his father\, yet his venture into creative writing didn’t begin until he was 56 years old\, when he began using poetry to document and express his life experiences. A self-described “cowboy poet”\, Kreger is from Tonkawa area.  Here is one of his  poems entitled  A Legacy.

DESCRIPTION:Shortgrass Art Institute Winter/Spring 2022\nLyn Taylor attended the Colorado Institute of Art. She has been an instructor for the Shortgrass Arts Institute for several years. She is also the coordinator for the SAI. \nThis workshop will meet\n\n\nMonday through Thursday\, May 16th – 19th\n\n\n6 – 8 pm\n\n\nCost of $30.00\n\n\nPlease register and pay for classes at the library: 580-477-2890\n\n\nClasses are open to all levels of experience\n\n\nFor adults and students ages 16 & up unless otherwise noted\n\n\nPre-registration is required and closes 5 days before the class begins\n\n\nClasses are limited to 10 students. We must have at least 3 students in order to hold class.\n\n\nCOVID-19 Safety Protocols will be observed.
